    Hello,

I recently picked up the domain name Distract.com (it is undeveloped) and I would love to know an estimated value. Thank you and I look forward to using these forums daily. :)

Seeing that it is a one word domain, I would say that easily worth between mid $xxx to high $xxx.

If properly developed, I don't see a reason why you should not get anything less than 5 digit $ value for this...

    All the best !

Pretty useless domain. No one searched 'distract'. Maybe if it was distractions.com , but distract.com in and ofitself has no value to advertisers

It seems a very suitable domain for branding purposes, particularly in the webgames/crazy videos/hang-out forums market. As long as you set up meta tags well and SEO'd as best you could I think you could pull a whole bunch of traffic from the "I'm bored gimme something to do" segment of surfers.. with a name of that potency I'd not settle for anything less than mid-range four figures for it, undeveloped. Now if you did even a minimum of work and got it in Google and a teeny bit of traffic? Well, then... sky's the limit!

Don't give it away for too low of a price, that's my bottom line advice. :)

Sorry to post twice in a row, but I wanted to add an idea that just occurred to me... if you took someone on to develop the site in exchange for part of its final sales price then you two working together could easily drive the asking WAY up... I can think of a ton of things to put on a site like that..

    Just a thought!

Hi nametech07, how much did you pay for it?
