I run a site - www.thelingerieblog.com. I've recently bought it back from the dead into some great search engine positions - 1-3 on some competitive keywords. I'd achieved this over around 12 weeks, so a relatively short period of time. In the last few days however, all of my rankings have dissapeared. Even for longer tail phrases, I'm down on page 4 or 5. I haven't done anything black-hat, so what could the reason for this be, and when will it turn around!?
that can happen sometimes for a brief period, just check back within the month. it may not get as high as before but might come back just under.
Dont worry about it just do optimization and try to get more backlinks. after some month it will get back in ranking.
First of all if you transfer a domain or get an expired domain you should now that pagerank start over from 0. Secondly if you have not do the below check your if google index accordigly your sitemap
