Displaying a swf in Wordpress.

I've got a game I wish to display in Wordpress and have created a page and managed to embed the swf.

However it only shows up when the page isn't published and I preview it. If I publish the page it just shows up as a blank object.

    Any ideas?

I'm pretty sure the PodPress Plugin will handle this for you.

If you are embedding the game through the WordPress user interface, you may want to try creating a page template with your embedded swf instead. Then, create your page in the Wordpress interface using your new page template instead of the default one. If you need specific directions for doing this, let me know.

I have no idea how to work that podpress plugin to get it to display a game.

I have created a new page template for the game, but I don't know how to add the game to the template to get it to show correctly and then still be able to post etc underneath it.

Try this plugin: Kimili Flash Embed

The code to add to your post can be found in the readme file after you download and extract the plugin.

If you need additional help, I'm available to do this work for you. Just PM me or contact me through my website.

And you might try reading this article to see if you're having the same problem he had: Embedding SWF files into WordPress posts with SWFObject

Yeah, used kimli and it doesn't work for me, just outputs the height and width as text, which is weird.

    I'll PM you.
