Display URL and Destination URL

    Hi guys,

I have the following problem: if I use adwords to promote directly a Commission Junction advertiser I should use the Destination URL that is provided from CJ and it usually looks something like fdjfvbdhjfndik.com/.........
This URL of course, don't look pretty and I want to use as Display URL something meaningful, most often the name of the advertised website itself.
The problem is that when both URLs are different the ads are not approved by Google. How do you resolve this problem?

This is an option but still it will be different from the display url if I want to use the company's site url as display url.

I am running campaigns with diff. url, why google is not approving your? Adwords only says that when user click on ad it's "destination" must be same as disply url.

Click on your fdjfvbdhjfndik.com link and see where it ends up - where it ends up is the destination, and that's the URL you are meant to use as the display URL.

That's why they call it "destination URL" and not just URL

As long are your url matches the actual landing page off the aff company and they allow direct linking and using their display URL adwords wont reject it. I've done tons of work with CJ and had no problems with this. Good luck

As was already said, here's what you can do:

    Display URL: merchant-domain.com
Destination URL: your clickbank affiliate link
    User ends up on: merchant-domain.com

In that case, you're fine because the display url is where the clicker ends up and that's all that they care about.
