Hey, I'm experimenting with the keyword insertion function and was wondering if it is somehow possible to accomplish the following: E.g. my Ad: Find the best {Keyword:Hotels in NY} Adcopy URL I added keywords like "hotels in new york", "hotels new york" etc. The thing is now that it doesnt sound good when someone searches for "hotels new york" and my ad appears with the headline "Find the best Hotels New York" - the "in" is missing. So is it possible that only "Hotels in New York" (in Chicago etc) is shown although the actual search is "hotels new york"? My ad should appear with "hotels in new york" and "hotels new york" BUT with the "in" in the headline of my ad. Thanks!
The simple-yet-limited solution would be splitting certain search terms to a separate ad group which will include only exact keywords, as [hotels in ny]. Those ad groups will have keyword insertion implemented in some/all ads. The more coplex solution requires API: use {param1} and {param2} combined with AdWords Ad param service, as explained in the Value Track parameters list It's called "ad placeholders", and it's pity that Google doesn't enable it on a wider scale as MS AdCenter does. (I mean: why are we obligated to use API, with all its complexity, in order to use ad placeholders?)
