Display Advertising Tracking in Google Analytics

    Hi my company has created a set of flash banners and animated gif banners which are going to go on a number of different websites.

    I want to know how best to track these? We have one set of banners and want to monitor which website has produced the most clickthroughs from these.

    Flash banners - They have clickTAG although I am not entirely sure what this is. When I send these flash banners through to the hosting websites, do I also need to provide them with a campaign string URL? How does the clickTAG work and how will these flash ads be tracked?

    Animated Gif banners - Do I need to create a new campaign string URL for each different website and send this through to the hosting websites when I send the banners?

    In analytics - where will I see all of this information?

    Better to use UTM parameters so that you can easily track performace of you site..!
