Display a text based tournament bracket on a webpage

Hey, I would appreciate if someone might be able to give me some tips or point me in the right direction on how to go about creating a text based bracket in a webpage, for ex. - An NCAA Basketball tournament bracket.

I'm sure I could photoshop one and it just be an image but i would definitely prefer to have one that is html or text based and can be displayed on a webpage. Any tips or template direction or specific programs to use, info would be much appreciated.

 

I would create a large table and use CSS to border the cells appropriate to the flow of the bracket.
