Disney Memorabilia Site for Sale

I am putting disneymemorabilia_com up for sale.

I originally intended to develop the site to capitalize on this great niche, but I have since decided to devote my time to some more profitable websites.

Here are the basics…

-Domain originally registered in Dec 2004, but I bought it on the aftermarket in late 2006.

-Domain registered at GoDaddy through December 2007.

-Current Pagrank of 2.

-The site has a handful of quality backlinks from early link building efforts.

-There are also a number of lesser quality backlinks (directories, rss aggregators, and links from articles I wrote).

-Content includes 46 posts in 5 different categories.

-750 uniques for the month of July. This is actually 150 more than June, even though I have not paid much attention to the site.

-Top referrers for July include Google (300), MSN (80), Yahoo (35)

-Currently monetized with adsense and the CJ eBay program. Revenue is paltry (about $10 per month), but I think there is potential here with more traffic.

Included with sale:

-Domain name with a free transfer to your GoDaddy account.

-All WP files, posts, and images. I will also leave my popular ezine article live within my account - this has been a great backlink builder.


***Please note that the buyer should have experience transferring a wordpress site. I have never done it myself, so I will be looking for support in the process. I use the WP Backup plugin, which may make it as easy as emailing the whole thing…I just don’t know.***

As far as the deadline for offers, I will make it Friday August 3rd by 5pm EST.

I am also adding a BIN of $175 for this site, and a reserve of $100.

The domain alone is worth at least $50. Since it has unique/targeted content and some backlink development, it would be easy to generate $50 - $100 a year by simply throwing up a one-page adsense site. But if you develop it further, you would probably earn $50 - $100 revenue per month.

Here are a couple ideas that I never pursued....
-Paid advertising - this niche is huge, especially on ebay (search disneyana). You caould easily sell $5 or $10 text links to the collectible dealers on ebay. Just search the stores and fire off some emails.

-AuctionAds - I was too lazy to swith the CJ ads to Auction Ads. The commision is higher and they are easier to integrate.

-Cheap Content - I did get started on this one....buy a disneyana price guide and just keep typing until you fingers fall off. I was making targeted pages by pulling specific products and writing blurbs about them. There is so many little disney niches, and you can strike gold by just having some content about a particular item.

This is great niche site...already started with content and backlinks. You just need to water and fertilize it!! I am making $1000 per month on two other sites with targeted niches similar in scale (not disney related). That is the only reason I am selling this site - I just don't have the time between the 9-5 and my other sites.

Someone who has the time to generate content and PR will make $$ from this website.

Of course you could always go back to the myspace layouts and oversaturated arcade markets!
