Hey guys, this morning I visited my sites homepage to find a blank screen saying page error - contact support. Also my homepage had this at the end of the url : /cgi-sys/suspendedpage.cgi I emailed them and their reply was : "File mentioned below had caused load in the server and we were forced to suspend the account. Please let us know what kind of script is this and what are the steps you can take to avoid this from happening again. /home/altugk0p/public_html/index.php " However when they gave me access to my cpanel, its not my bandwidth that was exceeded it was my disk space? I've looked at the php file and it makes no sense to me because I'm useless with PHP but I've copied the file in question at the end of this post if anybody can make sense of it. The only thing I've done recently is outsource for somebody to create me a new page template for my wordpress theme. I doubt they've messed with my site as they have an awesome reputation as a service provider for over 80 happy customers...I've also hired somebody to do data entry for me and add pages to my wordpress site. (she's worked for me before and I completely trust her so I doubt she's up to anything untoward) Any idea's guys? I'd really appreciate it...here's the php code in the file : <?php /** * Front to the WordPress application. This file doesn't do anything, but loads * wp-blog-header.php which does and tells WordPress to load the theme. * * @package WordPress */ /** * Tells WordPress to load the WordPress theme and output it. * * @var bool */ define('WP_USE_THEMES', true); /** Loads the WordPress Environment and Template */ require('./wp-blog-header.php'); ?>
Do you have cpanel? If yes then check the "Disk Space Usage". That will give you a rough idea what is causing this problem.
Thanks for the response I think I've just figured out why the disk space is being exceeded... There are loads of core.xxx files being created and I don't know why..They are like 65mb each. Are these ok to delete? Will they come back..I'm doing a quick Google search but any responses would be great if anybody knows what these are about.. Thanks again Altug
The core.* files are server core dumps. You do not need them. do you have auto backup generator plug in ??
Just try to off some of your post/comments or check the latest post/comments you posted on the wordpress blog... I think there is any post/post which have hidden javascript code which cause to slow down the server.....
