disk space and web server problem...

I have a vps with about 14 gb space. I use only about 500 mb of it, and hostinabox os uses about 2 gb.

Problem is, when I run a script, about 11 gb of garbage log occurs at /home/httpd/domain.com/stats/.

I directly deleted that folder. I had to reboot the vps to see change in disk space.

    Then apache became inactive.

I tried to change lighttpd [ I use lxadmin].

    Problem remained as before.

I used recover vps option. It made no change.

I tried to switch to apache after vps recover.

    Problem remained same.

Now what should I do to stop these two problems?

    1. The unnecessary load in stats when I run that script.
    2. How to recover web server now?

Please don't suggest not to use that script. I need to run that at any cost.

    :(

I don't know contents of log file...

That scripts copies lot of files, uploads to another server and then deletes the copy.
