This is what I heard from a social media expert. Once he said that I should not focus on the number of likes for my Facebook page. I should focus on the number of response : likes per post , comments per post on my Facebook page. There is no point at all if you have many likes on your page, but none of them give response to your post. He even said : I'm totally surprised to know this. As far as I know, many people always focus on the number of likes for their page. They even spend some bucks to buy it. What do you think about this ?
well, you got the point. number of likes will prove your credibility. however, IMO, what he said makes sense too. Although , you have 10,000 likes, if they are all bots who don't care about your product, it's meaningless, right ?
If most of your fans are fake, it dilutes your overall reach when posting to your page. So if all you care about is that a visitor see's a large number of likes on your page, listen to viata. If you want meaningful communication (as much as facebook now allows) with fans, listen to what your expert said. I'd rather have 10k active fans than 100k fake ones.
well, I think it's useful to have very large number of likes on FB page without anyone cares about our page, right ? I don't say that we shouldn't have large number of likes. Of course, we should have large number of likes for our FB page, the larger is better. But with assumption those likes are real people, not bot.
Disagree. At least , the page administrator can see all its fans. and Facebook allowed us to invite others to be the page administrator / manager of our FB page. And they can see all its fans too.
agree. assuming the number is true and all of them are real people, not bots at all. Unfortunately, this assumption isn't the reality,right ?
