I was thinking about the big domain names like eBay, Google, Yahoo, PayPal ETC ETC... Basically any of the top ranked domain names I am curious if anyone knows anything about the history of any of the high end domain names out there today. I was hoping that some of you might have some information on the history of some of these domain names. For example did any of these companies manage to hand register their domain or buy it cheap or pay a ton with a plan in mind. I have always wondered about the history of some of these domains. It would be quite interesting to know that there was a guy that sold eBay.com or google.com for $500 back in the day. Any info is greatly appreciated.
