This is the place to share dead beat encounters. Since there are allot of dead beats in politics as well as in all other walks of life, this is as good a place as any for this Dead Beat Encounters forum thread.

Please feel free to make written posts that include the names of the dead beats you encountered so the world can take note and be aware.

By posting your personal dead beat encounters and experiences here, you are actually registering those dead beats on the world wide web where all can access the data via any search engine, such as Google or Bing etc.

Why not express yourself, get it off your chest, let the world know who the dead beats are. Post frauds, scams, hucksters, utility companies, stores, services, politicians and what ever other category of low life dead beat that you have had the unlucky opportunity to encounter.

    PETA.

I read about terrible flooding in Alaska awhile back (maybe a year ago?), and dog owners (many sled dog owners) were requesting donations of dog food/dog houses. They had a severe shortage of dog food, and kennels and homes had been badly damaged by flooding. Many dogs were just tied to trees, without even a dog house for shelter. I thought, how can I help? Then I remembered when the sled races were going on all the media coverage by PETA, and the comments they made about wanting to help the sled dogs. I wrote to PETA requesting help, but it didn't seem like they were interested. They said that perhaps the dog owners would find donations elsewhere from private parties. My impression was that they have all the money in the world to protest the abuse of animals, but not any to directly help those animals immediately in need.
