Discrepancy between AdSense Page Impressions and Awstats Views

    Hello Everyone,

    I have a single 728X90 Adsense leaderboard in only one aspx page in my site.

    The Google Page Impressions for the month of June totaled 35,696 and the Awstats Views for this page totaled 84,478.

    Each time this page is pulled up, it refreshes and posts back to my hosting server. The Google javascript should do the same and request new/updated ads from their servers to populate the advertisement banner on this page. One would assume that these numbers would be equal. Would any of you know why there's such a huge discrepancy between the Google Page Impressions and Awstats Views in my particular case?

    no idea, you can contact adsense support asking for an explanation

    awstats will count bots and scrapers as visits, adsense stats won't.
