I thought that Paul was "for" legalized abortion, because he doesn't believe that the federal government should stick its nose into peoples private business.

Are you saying that Paul is against legalized abortion?

Paul is against the federal government ruling either way on abortion. It is a states rights issue. Anything concerning what should be states rights should either have the "other" mark checked or have a "States Rights" bubble added >.>

I'm sure that every candidate would like their own "in my own little Universe" box, but we're all stuck here in the same Universe.

What matters here is how these dolts will implement the mad little ideas in their heads once they assume the role of the most powerful human in the known Universe.

Wouldn't it be nice if just once a candidate did while in office what they claimed they would do before office?

Ron Paul believes that life starts at conception, and the Constitution demands the protection of life and liberty. I know he has at least once called for a repeal of Rowe vs. Wade.

Personally he is against abortion, politically he would remove all federal influence and return the issue to the states.
That's probably Ron Paul, which is what scares a lot of people.

The more and more I hear about Ron the more and more I have to lend him my support. He simply matches my political beliefs almost to the letter, much better than anyone else currently out there.

McCain was my original possible before the candidates even announced, now I simply do not see myself voting for anyone else out there. Not a single Democrat would get my vote ATM that I can think of, Republicans are pretty much in the same boat, maybe 2 would get it.

He's a different and interesting candidate for sure.

I like Paul or Obama. Hillary scares the crap out of me, and the rest of the Republican field for the most part is blase.

    What's so bad about Hillary?

She's a controlling bitch -- but that's just the way we view females who have the same traits as the average male politician. They are all power-hungry SOBs.

Obama is much more of a loon. He told the automakers that, if elected, he would subsidize American auto manufacturing. What an idiot!

McCain is completely unacceptable to me due to his unconscionable attacks on the First Amendment.

I like Paul personally, but he's so completely and totally lost in his own fantasy world regarding foreign policy that I can not support his move from the legislative to the executive branch.

Fred seems fine, but I'm still leaning towards Rudy.

As is he to me now, I like some of what he stands for but to many others things have turned me off of him. His immigration stance as well.

Fred will get MASSACRED by Hillary when general election debates roll around. He can't debate, and his public speaking is terrible; why do you think he joined the race so late?

Fred's pro-war, which I personally do not like.

Fred's got a history of succumbing to special interests when he was a Senator.

Fred's got a spotty voting record from when he was in the Senate.

Fred declined to attend the PBS debate, which was a presidential forum on African American issues.

Fred is totally out of touch with recent events, particularly recent Republican history such as the Terry Schiavo story. When asked about it, he claimed not to know the details.

Besides Fred's notoriety as an actor, what exactly is it about him that is so compelling? Honestly, I'd like to know where he stands on an issue that isn't mirrored by another candidate.

We've already got a bumbling moron as a President. Let's not elect another...

Those may be wacky views, but they are legitimate.

Here are some recent examples of Fred being out of touch.

He recently mentioned he was looking forward to a debate that had already been cancelled, and wants Bin Laden to go through the criminal justice system, "just like the people at Guantanamo Bay."

Just another talking head. I don't get the feeling he has done half of the research required, or is taking his bid seriously enough to be someone I should consider supporting.

Contrast that with Rudy, who I loathe, but will admit that he has many clear opinions, and seems to be up to date on recent developments, as well as recent Republican history.

Folks, we can't afford to screw this up by electing anyone who is a doofus. Not again.
