    Hello,

I have a "disclaimer" on every page of my website. When i test it with "copyscape", it shows this as duplicate content. For some reason, my website needs to have "disclaimer" and for other reasons it can not be different as on other websites! Does anybody have same kind of experience? My disclaimer is no longer than 60 words which is nearly 20% of my content on every page? Do you think i better remove it ?

I'd say it is more important for organic SEO to remove the duplicate content. This is what copyscape says is best, right?

Webmasters have copied my content. Up to 7 paragraphs from what I have noticed. My keyword rankings have always gone up.

The way to see duplicate content from your original material is to do a keyword search with a word(s) on your webpage that gets a low volume of searches. For example: I search thyseo and see duplicate content. Some of these duplicated webpages kept the backlinks to my site. Maybe this helps my popularity.
