Disasterous September

Hey Guys,
I run about 30-35 sites with adsense on them and summer is usually slow for me. But out of nowhere the earnings dropped 25% at the start of september... I dont really have an explanation for that.... some guesses

google updated backlinks/pr to restult in different se positioning....?
new quarter?
changes within adsense?

any ideas?

A simple look at your traffic stats should put that one to rest. If your numbers are the same and you're ranking for the same keywords then thats not it.

 

Well impressions are down as well, about 15%, but I am hoping that this bad 5 day streak goes away before I get to checking stats of all 30 sites to try to see what is going on.

My september is being my best month ever...so far at least

 

I'm down by a lot for the first week of September. But I attribute some of my downturn to a major hit my primary site took in Google rankings on August 17th.

 

We don't bother with adsense much, but business late August early September is nearly always very slow

Can i ask you guys how much you earn from adsense over a 12 month period?
I think about trying it but everyone i speak to only earn $$$ a month and not $$$$ or even $$$$$ ???

I dont expect you to give away trade secrets but i just trying to understand the benefits.

Gamming, and educational (both sites are brazilian, dont know if it matters. and also, today is the day of independence of brazil, i thought it would be bad, I was wrong, my eCPM doubled since yesterday )

 

My stats were much better last month, now I'm just getting by
