disaster: my top keywords gone in a day

Hello, today google killed my website.
i started it 12 months ago, putting everyday new original and useful content, slowing increasing traffic everyday.
traffic topped 2000 Uv a day last week, and it's been constantly over a thousand Uv for the last 6 months, making some decent money from Adsense.
80% of the traffic came from a dozen search keywords, only a couple of them are competitive.

today my site out of the blue disappeared from the serp of almost all of the keywords... and what's worst, in the top 10 there are only useless sites, most of them owned by private companies. just advertising sites wih no real content.

my traffic is now only 1/20 of what is normal....
why? what's happening? why is google being so mean?

    i seems google is dancing.
Did you do anything that could get you penalized? Maybe by accident?

Give it a few days and you will probably be back in, if you didnt do anything wrong there is no reason for them to dissapear..

Did you change anything about them recently? Rely on any spammy link techniques for all your rankings?

As the above post said, just give it a few days and see. Google uses many servers, so results may vary depending on the propagation time etc.

Don't worry! There are ups and downs for any site in SERP's... Just relax and try to work hard more on your content, your site will hit top rankings sooner or later.

Just notice the good dance in serps... I just follow other Pinoy experts advice about popular keyword and what that keyword can do..

One of my domain doesn't have

    meta name="keywords" content="content wiki, video,mail,search"

Has only 350 words about one celebrity, 20 Pictures and 10 videos. all organic visitors and a good income!

well, i haven't done anything different than usual to the site. i' m only adding fresh new original content every day.
i haven't added any link in the last 4 months, all the links that came are from natural linking because the site is useful, every article takes between 1 and 2 hours of work and it gives good knowledge for free.
it's getting quite popular in the country where i live (Italy), infact that's another thing i forgot to mention: the website is in italian.

what i'm worried is: this is a wordpress template, and the site is a blog.. could it be a change in google algo that penalizes blogs? because i see no more blogs in those serps, only websites owned by companies...

i'd be happy if it's only for 6 weeks, i would not mind that... i'm only scared this could be something permanent.

Your case seems like the unfortunate case of google dance. So many affiliates lost thousands of dollars because of google constantly changing policies and algorithm. Most of the time its for good but many times it backfires like in your case.
