I am not American and I don't have any right to vote but I am following US election for I am also hoping for change.

I just hate to see how ignorant and selfish some of the Americans are... I hate to see people, despite of world crises are still acting racists... These people are selfish... What can you gain from being racist anyway?

A retired steelmaker from PA, a democrat says:
What a stupid, ignorant, selfish, and racist comment. People like this has no right to vote. Why? Instead of voting invalid, why they would waste time casting their vote? I am not telling him to vote for Obama.. If he don't like to vote either Obama or MCcain, he should have keep his mouth shut... Being racist is not freedom of speech..

People like these are hindrance to America's change ans growth...

Furthermore, there is no America if there were no blacks... I'm Asian and neither white or black but I really hate such stupid comments...

    Viktor,

I think americans have come a long way, just look at this election, the republican campaign is desperate, and throwing at Obama whatever they can, among other things, first was the obama is a muslim thing, then the terrorist association thing, then they tryed to insinuate that "real americans" vote for mccain, now its the socialist acusation (which is amusing for anyone living outside the united states) but you know what, its not working anymore, the american people (or most of them anyway) just dont fall for that anymore, and thats great for everybody.

What the world really needs, is an America like it used to be, a country standing in a moral high ground ,something it lost with the invasion of iraq and the use of torture.
A country whose leaders have a world embracing view, are respected by both americans and world citizens alike, who respects international laws, and sets an example of Democracy and Freedom to the world.

People on other side of the world are laughing on what is happening in US now... especially when MCcain/Palin talks... I am not favoring Obama but as an observer, I can see how things are going... Yes, MCain is so desperate... An old and hungry who is running out of time partnered with Palin, a young and also hungry for power... They will do anything what they can... Watching Rachel Maddow report,a Palin supporter says "Obama bin lyin"...How could GOP candidates tolerate such acts...? Palin is a disgrace. MCcian is blaming Bush for his failures, GOP is blaming MCcain for selecting inexperienced and ignorant Palin... LOL... GOP is in chaos..

Believe it or not, getting upset over racists only perpetuates the problem.. That's my belief anyway, they like war and separation so why are you giving it to them?

Divide and conquer. That's the motto of the Neocons. It worked for G.W.Bush, but I think it will blow up in their face this time around. Boo!

Sadly, racism is everywhere, even in so called "democratic" countries. Its a tough plan to get rid of it.

I think we can tell definitely that if Obama were a white he would have got at least 85% of the vote. The US even though has come a long away and compared to most countries MUCH longer away I think there r still room for improvements.
