Bug Disappearing PMs

What would cause a large amount of PMs to just disappear? I had several important deals in transition and I had at least a page's worth of unread PMs that have completely disappeared. The newest PMs in my inbox are now from the 23rd, and when I looked at my inbox earlier today I had many PMs from yesterday and today. Any idea what might have caused this, and if it's possible for me to recover these? Any help would be much appreciated - thanks in advance!

No idea what could cause that, but I can tell you how to avoid the problem in the future should it reoccur.

    - Set your preferences to send an email when you get a PM.
    - Set email on your end to route those directly to their own folder named "DP PMs" or some such.

You've effectively set up an off site backup for all your PMs and you never have to look at that email folder unless you need to. Also gives you a better search function for finding specific PMs.

Good call, I will have to set it up to do that from now on. I find it extremely odd that such a large amount of PMs disappeared though. Did anyone else experience this?

The only PMs that get auto-deleted on our end are ones that are too old (by default PMs older than 90 days are deleted).
