How do you disable the right click option and then "save as image" so the photos in your blog won't be copied by others.

I notice there are some pictures that have that option.

But people can still use the "print screen" key to copy your images if they really wanted. Maybe having automatic watermarking is a better option.

Disabling right click is useless, by the time they try it the image is already on their PC.
Just put a watermark on it that will stop quite a few.

Some people have the save image as disabled....because when you do it, what will come out is a spaceball.gif. I am wondering how to do that.

    1. Screw trying to do it. It works only in Internet explorer, possibly Firefox. All us smart people using Opera and Safari can still right click and press "Save Image As" or, "Open Image", "Copy Image Address" or "Copy Image to Clipboard".

Opera has 3 options to steal your image, and scripting can not change the context menu at all. Likewise Safari has "Copy Image to Clipboard", "Save image", "Save image to desktop" and "Copy Image Address".

Ok, so say you find a magical way to stop users in Opera or Safari from stealing your pictures (Or in IE and Fx). Anyone who wants an image badly, will
    a)Print Screen
b)Turn off scripting - rendering all your hard work and bloated code utterly useless and ineffective
c)View->Source. And copy the image address, then open it with an image editing program.

So I'll still be stealing your images, my friend. If you dont want me to, then watermark them.

Watermarks are the way to go, whenever I don't want something stolen I just make it clear who owns it ;)
