I heard that disabling Onsite Advertiser Sign-Up
which removes the “Advertise on this site” link
form Ad Units is good for higher click through.
    Have you experienced this?

It does not make too much of a difference except that it may blend in much better.

I haven't disabled mine yet, but I think I read in another thread that it may take a day or two. Does anyone know how to tell if I have signed up any advertisers?

It depends on lot of variables like your niche, maturity of your visitors and how commercial and rich is your niche.for example.
For digitalpoint its plus to show this link.
But lot of other sites can experience lower ctr with displaying this link.

    So it depends. :)

How much of an increase in CTR did you see after disabling it?

up to 5% increase. i guess this because when people see the "advertise" word they would usually just ignore it.
