Disabled ads but account remains

I just wanted to let you guys know that it is possible to have ads disabled on a website because of violation but not have your account closed. This happened to me today. I would argue that my website does not have adult content though I guess I can see how Google has decided it does.
I don't know how common this action is but count myself lucky I didn't lose my account since I have other websites.

It seems Your Domain is banned from Adsense.
Once any domain bans its not easy to show ad on that domain again.

You should try from another Adsense Account

if your account is still active than it means your domain is banned , add adsense code to your other domain it will work

Yes, it happens more often than not, since people don't come on the forum to complain, not as much as when adsense closes their account.
You were lucky, it means adsense still likes your account enough to continue doing business with you, don't repeat the same mistake and continue doing what works.

It's possible that adsense team disabled only on showing the ads but not totally disabled your account.

Yes. I know what happened and just wanted to share my experience. I have a popular Youtube partner channel plus a website which the fussiest Google employee could not fault. It was just my second website that they deemed to be adult. It is about famous red light districts but done in a touristy way and had no sexual content whatsoever. I guess they thought I was promoting prostitution or something. Slightly annoying when I deliberately avoided any photos of the working girls, adult text, dodgy adverts or links to adult sites.

Your domain is banded by Adsesnse. I think you should try alternative of Adsense. Here is a good list of alternative of Adsense...

    2. Bidvertiser
    3. Chitika
    4. Infolinks
    5. Pocket Cents
    6. Kontera

    8. Exit Junction
    9. Yahoo Publisher Network
    10. Fastclick

Those programs are all very good for making 1-2 cents per click.

    I understand but:
    - why did you choose a topic so close to adult content? I mean there are thousand of other topics which are well within the adsense's tos, why go for one which is near the border?
    - now that you don't have adsense on this site, you can be free to have good photos and more deep content which will render the site more attractive to your audience. Plus you can find ad networks which allow adult content, or some specialized in adult content. That way you'll be free from constraint imposed by adsense, your site will be better, and you'll still be able to earn money with it!

I also had my ads disabled from one of my sites though they have not banned me, just disabled the adsense ads and said my account is still active.

Just got some good news. I appealed against their decision to disable ads on my site and they have accepted it! I really didn't think they would since some may still consider my site adult. It just goes to show they aren't as bad as many people try and make out.

But did they tell you if they will do it again? Did they say sorry it was a mistake from our automatic bot?
What did they say to you? Nothing?

    This was their email-

"Thanks for following up with us. Our AdSense representatives monitor all
sites participating in Google's AdSense program according to our Terms and
Conditions and program policies. It appears that we sent the prior warning
message in error. I apologize for the confusion.

We have now re-enabled ad serving. Please note that because ad serving to
your site was temporarily disabled, there may be a delay of up to 48 hours
or more before ads begin appearing on your site again. We appreciate your
    patience."
