    Hello,

I like many other members go on the Directories: Submission area to post our sites

I heard that infractions can come for people who post "thanx" or submitted posts.

My issue is that i liked posting a response in order to keep track of the ones i responded too and those I have yet to see. (Note: I said, I would like to, but I don't)

I looked for "Directories" and "Disable post count" in the search box but no luck

Has anyone had any thoughts about disabling the post count in areas that had alot of negative members just trying to respond to post in order to raise their count.

    thank you.

    This site Owns.

I imagine that would cut back on the amount of spam but it still wouldn't stop it.

Also, there are a handful of moderators here to rid of the spam. If you see this type of post just report it and voila, gone!

No need to disable post counts in any areas.

in there it is not post count, but bumping threads that the rules about "thanx, pm sent" are in force.because you ban the bumping, post count padding is banned by default.

The OP thinks the "bumpers" are posting meaning posts to increase their post count and if post counts were disabled in certain areas, people wouldn't even bother posting.
