Disable Page Comments

    How do you do this? By page comments I mean disabling comments on about me,archives ect ect.I am using wordpress.

    You can do this by changing the setup in Wordpress. Log in as admin and go to Option and then, Discussion. You can set the comment to go for moderation. Then, uncheck the option for 'Allow people to post comments on the article'

    Actually I found out how 10 minutes I posted this,I was searching through the options but couldn't find it only to see that when you click manage pages >edit> theres a discussion tab and you can close comments !

    Why would you want to disable comments? Comments are the lifeblood of blogs. The dialogue generated by comments are half the fun of reading many blogs out there.

    Because I don't want comment on pages such as archives? Why would I want people to comment my archives?
