Downloading DirectX 10 for windows XP is available now. This DirectX 10 for windows XP still in alpha stages and isn’t the original of DirectX 10 files from Microsoft. As Microsoft has announced that the DirectX 10 currently support to Windows Vista only.

friends do u have any ideas means plz suggest......

Initially direct x 10 was only for Vista, but now there is a direct x 10 version support for XP. It brings you a huge differences especially on the images rendering and images processing in windows xp.

I my opinion, DirectX 10 on Windows XP is useless.
First of all there is no official support. There are also very few games that actually use DirectX 10 already. And your computer is probably to slow to use the advantages of DirectX 10 since you still have XP, I assume you have and older computer.

Not sure about that one, Why would Microsoft be bothering? I would be weary of software still in the alpha testing phase if you've acquired it from somewhere. Probably still full of bugs.

You can use DX10 on XP. Some of the new games' features only work with DX10.

A friend of mine tried installing the new DirectX 10 files for XP and eventually had to reformat because of all the crashes and errors. Be careful!

    Bad assumption.

Some have faster computers and have the choice to upgrade but choose not too. I have Vista my on my Core 2 Duo laptop, whilst my desktop is a heck of a lot faster, but I still use XP.

if DX10 can be installed in XP so why it will be useless? is it slower then DX9 or what is the reason you say that it is useless.

Windows XP does not support DX10 and cannot bemade to support DX10, that's why it's useless. If you want DX10 or higher, you'll need Vista or higher.
