DirectX 10 for XP?

Is there any Chance that DirectX 10 will be available for XP? I have read that the answer is "No,No,No!" but there is some Alky's Project site where they say they can enable DX10 for XP...

 

I think theres some hacks for games that give you direct x10 features on XP. I know theres one for crysis, not a whole lot sof direct x 10 games yet.

 

Yea there are a few games that give u 10 on XP i positive.

 

direct x 10 only makes games look about 10% better

I still dont think its worth getting vista yet

 

There will be more games for DX 10 in the very near future. And I don't agree hacks DX 10 works great on Vista, so stick with it!

 

Does it make sense to run/upgrade to dx10 if you don't have any games that require dx 10.

Well, there will be a lot of games in the near future written for DX10 only.

When is Dx10 gonna come out for Vista? I googled it but had no good results. Any idea when will it come for vista?

Vista comes with DX10 by default.

I thought that was the main selling point of Vista, which I am now running D), that it had DX10 for gaming performance? :O
I doubt Microsoft just shat on their own main selling point by making their flagship graphics engine good for XP, so soon before they discontinue XP as a whole, to be honest.
Is it just a version cracked by other people?
