DirectoryProfile.com : Make a profile for your directory

    hey guys,

    Ive almost finished making www.DirectoryProfile.com
    I came up with this idea last night, im not sure there is anything else like this yet.

    Basically you can go in, join and make a profile for your directory.
    There are 3 catergories, Free,Paid & Niche ( If you have an idea for more catergories please let me know )

    To get started, Register & start making a profile for your directory by making a post. You may put anything you like about your directory, this is your directory profile so make it look good.

    Heres an example/guideline of what you can do for directory your profile.

    Directory Screenshot: (Picture of your directory, must be 600 x 550 or else it wont fit, i would also suggest using the .PNG format for your picture)

    Site URL: ( Url of your directory )
    Directory Owner: ( Directory Name )
    Directory Name: ( Your name )
    Directory Type: ( Free, Paid, Niche )
    Directory Age: ( No. of years, months )
    Directory PageRank: ( Your Google Pagerank 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 )
    Alexa Rank: ( Your directories Alexa Rank )
    Active Links: ( NUmber of active links on your directory )


    Add anything else you like, remember this is a profile for your own directory, make it look good.
    I recommend using FireFox, i cant figure whats wrong with Internet Explorer.

    Good, original idea. However, I think you should provide direct links to the directories.

    yes, thank you for the suggestion, When making your profile use the link tool, it looks like a chain to provide a direct link to your directory.

    When making your profile use link code. Heres how to link to your directory. Tutorial

    1. Select the text that you want to use for your link.
    Use text, not the actual URL, for your link. It will make it easier for visitors to understand what they’re clicking on and will look better in your posts.

    2. Click the “Add Link” icon in the editor menu bar (or use the keyboard shortcut “Alt-A”). "It looks like a chain."

    3. Paste the URL link address for the site in the text field: Link URL. Click Insert
    Be sure to use the complete address including http:// , you can also fill in the Title field with a Text Description of your link.
