Hello, I am currently creating a free to list directory and was planning on making the database open to download and also making a script so people can parse it quickly, with all the content being Creative Commons, would be submit to one of these directorys? Aka Dmoz Style?
this has been done for many times. for example http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=315153 is great list . what will be difference between this and your site?
I think there are 100s of directories and the age to post links on directories are over and people are concentrating more on link-exchange,ads, campaigns, referrals,SEO etc.... So,I don't think it would be a good field to invest time in.....
The most difficul thing nowadays; would be starting something new on the internet.... even starting a new idea is really difficult, so what about A REALLY OLD IDEA!!!
