Directory was given PR4 in update

Looking for a different type of directory? This directory does not use a script. Instead, the pages are individually hand coded HTML.

The Advantage Content static HTML directory site was given a PR4 today. I will not be changing any pricing for listings until Feb. 1 So, until then:

Standard is one dollar
Featured is four

Instead of having the title be the anchor text you may select words within the description itself for the link. This way your link will appear in the context of a paragraph. Be sure to place ( and ) symbols around the word(s) you choose for an anchor. Limit of 5 words for anchor.

Top categories are for featured listings only. Deep links are accepted for the main listing but limited to only one per domain per category.

Standard listings are permanent.

Featured moves down to standard position after 1 year but retains details page permanently. The six most recent featured listings appear on the home page until rotated off by newer featured listings.

Featured listings will appear in the chosen category at the beginning of the listings as well as in the main category. For example if you choose a featured listing in the General Directories category your featured listing will also appear on the top Directories category.

Featured listing gets a details page with up to 1000 character description and in content link and up to 5 extra deep links for your site.
You get actual descriptions with the extra links and may place your anchor within the description.

You also get to write your own Meta Title and Meta keywords for the details page.

Also a small note to everyone. I have had quite a few people suggest a new category for their listing. It is fine to do that and in most cases I will create the new category for you. But often a new subcat has been suggested when the listing in question would be perfectly appropriate for an existing category. I will take your new subcat into consideration but in cases like that I will most likely put it into an existingg subcat.

It took me a while to write unique descriptions but what a great way to showcase our website. I crossed my fingers when I hit submit, hoping there would not be a problem as I would not have wanted to retype all the info again! Of course no problems, everything went smoothly.

Remember, everyone, even though your featured listing is for 1 year you will always have a listing in Advantage Content as your listing will go to the regular sites after a year. Also you will always keep the details page with the link from your listing.
