Hi.Guy's I was wondering if anyone could assist me with this question. Do Web Directories have any SEO Value? The reason I ask this is that over the past few months we have been working on various link building techniques and documented our SERP Improvements after a few days of the links being accepted and indexed. Out of all the methods we found web directories gave little if any improvement. Am I wrong in thinking SEO value is automatically passed on when a link is indexed or are web directories a waste of time now in SEO?
Web directories still are good, well some of them are anyway. Some of them are however, useless. Some really big web directories are really good like DMOZ but it's hard to get listed there. Try and submit to web directories that have a lower Alexa rank, they generally are better directories.
web directory still ok for link building. however, you shoudl diversify your links, not just use web directory.
Whts the difference between Directory submisn and classified submission..?? And which one is more valuable..??
Directory submission is best for 1 way links which will be permanent for long time, Once your website get ranking it will not be down.
