    Hello

As a SEO expert i have realized that Directory submissions are very much important for the websites. It is one of strong back link for the site.

But if your link is not indexed by google then ......

There is no mean of your back-links if your link is not indexed by google. So it is important that you must submit your site on the quality directory domains.

..... it might get picked up by Yahoo, MSN or any of the other hundreds of smaller search engines out there which use backlinks as a factor in ranking web sites.

Every single link counts, not least because Google don't even tell you which links they are counting.

Still, nice to see a positive post.

The page not indexed by google will be indexed by it sooner or later, right? So why don't submit to it.

Exactly, such an expert wouldn't need to sell their services on a forum, as they'd know or have other methods in place. From India hmmm, I get an awful lot of indian seo 'companies' spamming my directory, and I would also expect them to know what targeting means - you know, from being such experts

Very well concept and thanks for your post. But one thing I never want to heard is addressing own as an SEO Expert or any other expertise. Two good line posts is not enough to make people expert in any field. Actual experts are only those people who make their proof with work not with words. Anyway, nice thread.

    Thanks

If a directory owner is not a cheap-skate they will take time to make there site better and have it be to a quality level in which Google will identify it. If a directory owner is lazy, slacks-off, or purchased the domain just to scam people for extra cash then Google will not pick it up and your submission was worthless.

The skill is to identify the difference between the two.

I am an Indian and do agree about spamming by a lot of Indian companies. Infact I had an opportunity to meet some SEO Experts of such companies who say content writing, article & directory submission, and pagerank increment is what an SEO Executive must do.

Infact not only India, 3-4 US based companies also had the similar definition. One of them believed PPC should also be handled by SEO Executive.

Anyways, hello, Mr. Self proclaimed Seo Expert.

Why does everyone here keep engaging these folks who are obvious spammers? I've been on the forums today for all of 5 minutes and have already seen 2 identical posts from teamnirvana and the OP is obviously only pushing his "expert services".

So how many here fell for this line and visited the expert's site?
