Well, I found a few directory sites that I would like to summit my website to and they are asking me in the fill out form section for "Reciprocal Link" and the box below that has this "To validate the reciprocal link please include the following HTML code in the page at the URL specified above, before submiting this form:" I tried coping the code and putting in the box, I tried puting my website in the box, I don't understand what to put in "Reciprocal Link" box. You need to put a link on your site and then in that box you put the page it is on. Thats what it means... Hope this helps
I get it now, I have to put a back link from my website to the directories Well that kind of sucks, LOL. So if I wanted to join a hundred directories more or less, I would have 100 back links to directories on my site . I'm new to internet marketing, and heard that directory linking is a good thing, but not at the cost of putting so many back links on website, I mean that would just ugly out my site with just a long list of links on my home page . Plus from what I'm reading alot of these directories can take weeks to months to post your website, so I quess this is not a fast way to generating traffic to a site?. So heres a though, has anyone ever added a page to thier site, that would be just a Directory Links page? I mean love to join as many directories as I can but not at the cost of having a million directory links on my home page, LOL. Thanks Guys for helping me understand what the "Reciprocal Link".
