Every one is probably aware that you should submit your site to directories is a good idea, and that it should be done manually. I have found this to be a tough job though. I submitted my site to directories in the begining about a few years ago, and I am still tired from all the work I put in. What I have to show is about 50 to 100 links. My competetors have over 3000 links. I once came accross a forum post where the person offered a monetary value for directory links manually submitted. I have seen directory submission companies offering to submit to multiple directories for as low as 33 cents a directory.
