    I think you are talking about software which can do directory submission. but i would recommend you to do it manually. search engines not like software submission.

    There are many programs out there that will help you with submitting to directories.. many are free.. many are good,, some are crap.... Digixmas... is one of the best... but if you want to have control of your submissions then check my sig.

    I use Submitwolf, it claims to submit to 500 000 links, I think it is well worth the money and easy to use.

    The lowest cost option with full control:

    RoboForm (free version will work) and submit to a list of directories. RoboForm will one click fill submission forms except for captcha. Check my sig for a directory list.

    Directory Submitter is Brad Callen's software, right?

    I think it's okay. But there are some directories listed there that don't give access to submitters anymore. I'm not sure but I think that's just one downside of it.

    i have used directory submitter and it was good.. it is free and let you submit to up to 350 web directories.
