Directory submitter tools

There are various directory submitting tools available that claim to submit your site to over 3000 directories :D .

What I want to know is that is it really worth the time to use such tools for submitting to directories .I always feel that manual submission ( along with form filler like Roboform ) is better since those links come in slowly and will not risk you from getting penalized for getting 1000s of links in a short span.

Has anyone had any success with such tools or you also think that manual submission is best when it comes to directory submission.

You can try this tool while it is still free. :D

Let me know if you like it or hate it.

Thanks for the link . I already have such tools but never used one so I thought it would be wise to ask those that have used it so that their views can be shared.

Has this worked for you . Do you get permanent back links this way or they just disappear after few months.

I used a program called Link Directory Submitter: http:// www.directorysubmitter.com

Worked well for quite some while: first few months I saw a good 100+ links appear and stay there for at least a month. They didn't last, however. Most don't seem to appear in Google now.

If it was that easy everyone would have pages ranked number one. I think most sites in the directory submitters have no real value. They might send some traffic but most will not.

I'm always skeptical about tools that people claim will submit my site to thousands of directories.
I need some type of solid evidence that it works before I try it.

Some how I feel that these directory bulk submission tools don't really help and as kashifmahmood suggested... they are not permanent... so for me paid directory submission works better... though it;s just my perception

I will say this tool is different in a way it is not automated software.

It is semi-automated tool. Let me explain further.

You have full control on your submissions. You can correct the suggested category and change/select title and description for your website at any time when you submit your website.

It has 2 modes: manual and express.

The express submission is a semi-automatic mode where it fills the submission form in and displays it for your review.
You just need to click Submit button to submit the site and go to the next directory.

Manual submission mode opens the directory submission page and pre-fills the form with your site information.

In other word, you can control the speed of your submission tool.

Anyway, no harm to give it a try.

Download here now while it is still free.

Rather, I think they probably fluctuate between being indexed, and not being indexed. Seen that happen a couple of times!

Looking back now I honestly don't think it's worth submitting to 1000's of directories. The best way I think, is to submit to a handful of directories - and use them to keep your site indexed, nothing more :)
