I would point your attention to the program known as AllSubmitter whitch does semi-automated directory submission.
    Perhaps you could try it.

And you will only end up submitting to all kind of crappy directories, the good ones need a manual submission

Don't be lazy and do things the right way

I've been just using Roboform (the free version) and I'm getting my submissions done pretty quickly.

I prefer manual submissions, automated ones often dont get categories correct, or screw up in one way or another.

At the end of the day, if you cant be bothered to spend a little time and effort promoting your site, why should a directory owner bother to list it?

If a automated submission gets it right, then the owner of a directory wont find out, but I would be wary of any bulk submission tools/firms that you pay money to get your site into a directory to.

If a company bulk submits all its clients at once, then its bleedingly obvious to a directory owner what is going on, and chances are your submission will in with lots of others, of varying quality. If one of those is bad quality, I and probably many others, just ban the ip so as not to get bulk submission from companies that dont actually care about what they are submitting. They only care about getting the cash, but it backfires on them.....

I just use Klipper to hold detail and past them in as needed. I have it set to hold 25 items in memory and I just pick from a popup lost what I want to paste in. Works fine on any flavor of Linux.

    hi All
I want to let you know about a new version of Directory Submitter: it has almost 200 free directories to submit to, it allows you to rotate multiple titles, keywords, descriptions for your site so the submissions will look as unique as possible and it shows more clear to what directories you submitted to, which you haven't yet and which are new with every update of the directory list (this will happen more than once per month).

Please note that this software is NOT a fully automated tool. You have full control over the submission process and you're the one that presses the submit button.

See all the details plus a free demo on Directory Submitter

I suggest you use Roboform or software autofill-form like this instead of directory submission software. They're worthless for today. If they claim to submit your site to a thousand (even ten-thousands) search engine please remember. Most of them are FFA sites. stay away from them

I think the new version of this software is ready to download now. You need to have .Net framework installed on your computer in order to use it.

Mystik, try my new software Directory Expert. It will automatically populate fields, track successful submissions and also intelligently take you to the optimal starting page. It also tracks multiple anchor texts, descriptions, etc. and more features I'm probably forgetting.

The database is not that large at the moment, but you get a full year subscription so you'll have new directories to submit to with just a click or two for a whole year.

Oh, and yes you can also define new sites right in the software which are then reviewed and added to the online database.
