And by getting more backlinks, you'll get more earning from adsense, a better search engine ranking, good PR and more sell value.
because somehow, directory links are the ones that stays longer than any links that you can get for your site..
I've always found social bookmarking to give specific keywords a good boost. would only use it once on the homepage for biggest volume keyword and maybe once on an internal, some offer packages over 6 weeks as well so it looks more natural than 7 days with 600 social bookmarking ads.
Many people usually submit to web directories to get back-links to their website and get viewed by people who visit these directories.
Arun.gc you have popped up the question in wrong category - here the questions should be related to Google Analytics.
The key is submitting to established directories that continue to work on the structure of the directory. A paid directory is a business and so the owners have an interest in maintaining the directory and working at it. Many people start up directories and don't really know the work involved and many times they don't know how to get it off the ground. Then six months to a year down the road the directory doesn't exist anymore or they try to convert it to a paid directory and get discouraged because no one is paying for the submissions. The question is why would someone submit to a paid directory if the owner is not investing in the structure and the quality of the directory? Submitting to a paid directory is a good idea because in the long run the chances of the site still existing is greater, thus providing a real value for a listing within that directory. If you submit to a free directory and that directory doesn't exist in a year's time what good is that to you? One of my criterion is the amount of time a directory has been in existance. One year is what I look for. The quality of the listings is something else that I look for and how relevant the listings are to the categories. If I see that the owner is not working on the structure of the directory then I have no interest in submitting my sites
Yes a paid directory is good but I still think that free directory is better since you can get the same results over time. And the power of the word "free" is that you can submit to as many good directory submission sites as possible and it will cost you nothing but a few hours or so.
Nice information, but newbie cant afford the paid directory as they dont have experience as well idea what they will be earning in future, so is there any list of directories which can help the newbie like me to submit my site? if yes then please let me know? otherwise give some advice how to get much out of free directories? which are the best directories in your view...
Your question is specific. We are doing the directory submission to earn the back links. Quality backlinks are always helping to increase the Rank.
