Directory Submissions

I see alot of postings with lists to directories to submit websites to. I also see a lot of posts from people asking if there are companies out there that will manually submit sites to these directories.

I have done some research on pricing and I am interested in perhaps helping all of you out.

What would each of you be willing to pay for each submission?

    $.15, .$20, $.50, $1.00+ ?

I charge $0.4 and I don't get 'all' the business :) People would prefer to get it for free :)

i don't use directory submission service,
the price is not my main concern,
i would worry where my site has been listed on...

You are right wallaceyeung. You don't want your site listed in 'bad neighborhood' and web directories don't take any time in getting converted to link farms.

I've had offers from well known submitters on this forum for around $50 per 1000. Works out at 5 cents per submission I believe which is quite cheap.

As long as the quality of directories is good and a detailed report is given at the end I don't mind paying a higher price.

'quality' is again just perception :) I submit to PR1+ for some clients. Others are happy with 'new' PR0 directories that would accept their links faster and go on the get some PR in near future ..

mikey : i am not famous.. but i do provider 4 cents submissions ;)

Think of webmaster forums as sweat shops for directory submissions. You can get a site submitted on the cheap, but the results may reflect the low price paid.

Thats around 17 cents per submission. Not bad. How long would it take you to do all of this?

Our cheapest submissions are 21 cents per submission but we offer bulk pricing for 15 cents per submission. A big part of our service is researching the directories.
We don't submit to any directory. We submit to directories that regularly approve free submissions. We also consider a number of factors that can affect the SEO benefit of the listings.

That pricing is more like it.

I do directory submissions as well (for brick and mortar co's), and my pricing is about the same. There's an old saying, you get what you pay for. :)

    yeah, you are right,
cheap submission fee does not mean quality,
but the unreasonable price does not equal to quality too. :D

I prefer to do it myself, having seen the result of such submission services by way of them submitting their clients sites to my directories. Lots of duplicate content, no attention to detail, etc.

I like to change the content for every single submission that I do, swap out the deeplinks if available (I know not many freebies offer them), change the link text around, etc.

Here are a couple of paid submits I did recently (I know these are paid but I do the same for freebies):

    http://www.ventedoy.com/autos/discount-car-parts.html

    http://www.zorg-links.com/link/Import-Parts-2114.html

I have yet to find anyone who offers a level of service which would change out the descripts and link text for every submission. So until then....

OK, $.20 Sounds more like the direction that I was wanting to go.

I have a solid list (100) of PR3 and up that I will submit your site to, no recip's.

I will need 3 page itles, and up to 5 site descriptions from you that I will mix up throughout the submissions.

I can do them (100) all at once, or spread them out over a few weeks. Whichever you prefer. I would also need your email address to use for the submission's as a location for the confirmations to go to.

If you are interested, 100 directory submissions, PR3 and up for $20.00
please pm me. I will accept PayPal.

    Thanks all

20$ for 100 dirs is way too high in my opinion. But if you aim for quality submit It hink you should provide more details why you sould charge 20$/100 dirs. anyway, good luck with your business. :D
