Directory Submissions -- Beneficial or not?

i belive directory submissions (automatic or manual) does't increase mush of the traffic.

what do u think guys?

do u have a site on which u r getting traffic on ur site bcz of such services?

 

automatic don't work, but then if you go for the manual directory submission it sure will help. do it regularly, this is not a one day work, take you time or get anyone else to work, do it over a long time, it will sure help!

 

Directory submission programs should be manual, continuous and sustainable and they will prove to be a solid way of indexing, and securring back links

It does increase traffic but the main purpose of directory submissions is to build one way links for SEO purposes.

I don't do it for increasing traffic but I do think it's very beneficial (for buildings links) and getting a good PR

 

I think its good for increase traffic, but I search for a good list off directory if some one have a list please MP me

Directory submissions are not for increasing traffic. They are for SEO. The more backlinks you have the higher you will rank in search engines. The higher you rank in search engines the more traffic you get.

I doubt anyone gets traffic from directories, it's purely link building for PR and SEO!

 

Vote: It helps. May not get alot more traffice but youll get indexed more and get some good saturation.

It somewhat helps in indexing if it is a very popular and high traffic directory then may be you can expect some traffic

 

u can get traffic frm few paid directories, rest not sure with free directories to get tht high traffic unless you buy ad spots in the directory.
it will increase your backlinks for sure.

But you have to wait for few months to get the exact result .
Since manual directory submission can help us to get more backlinks we can get high PR !

But Auto submission will not give u anything.

I feel banking entirely on directory submission for getting traffic is not the right idea. If you think in this line, then you will miss the mark. Directory submission is mainly for link building (PR).This is the only strong reason.

 

Directory Submissions is benefial in increasing your website's PR,backlinks,etc.
Traffic depends on your site content, and the Directories in which your site is situated, high PR and popular directories can get uopu good traffic too.
