Directory Submissions and the Number of different tilte tags Question

    Hi,

I am thinking of submitting my site to about 2000 directories.

I am wondering, over what time period can I do this without getting penalized for too many links over too short a period and how many variations of Titles and Descriptions I should create?

Should my main keyword & keyword phrase be in all the Titles & description sandwiched between differing text?

Thanks for all of your thoughts :)

I am working on a directory submission for one of my own sites at the moment to about 2500 directories.
I will take about a week to do this, thats better.

How more often you change your description and keywords the better.

I wouldn't let anyone convince you that building 2,000 links in a couple days is acceptable. I wouldn't just mix up the title's. I'd try to incorporate different websites into the submissions altogether. If you're going to build 2,000 links for directories, do 200 for one site, 200 for another and so on. That way, all of your sites are gaining backlinks at a reasonable time. In a few weeks, returning and mix up the orders so different sites are landing at new directories.
