    Hi to all!
I'm new to SEO and i just want to know if submitting my site to directories and other free directories still provides a value? Do i still get higher PR and backlinks if i submit to directories? And, is it fine if I submit in directories with PR0?

Only submit to those that get cached by yahoo or google. Dont use the generic directory lists that you can get anywhere or are already installed in a directory submitter.

I would say yes, that it still provides a value, you still get backlinks and yes it is fine if you submit in PR0 directories.

Directories provide definite SEO value. I would recommend directory submission as part of an overall link building effort.

Directory submission can help you for boosting search engine rankings. Submitting your site into PR0 directories is also fine...who knows in next PR update they may get PR4-5-6.

I agree with all the above advice. Take 15 minutes out of every day and start pounding your way through one of the many free directory lists out there. You should see results within 6 months.

If its a free directory dont waste time researching if it is cached or not as it really doesn't matter that much. If it's a paid directory just go to google and type in the url name prefixed with cache, e.g.

    cache:google.com
    Code (markup):
