Directory submission

is their a differents betweem manual or software driven submission?

Directories that manually review your website? Not

 

sure -- the amount of time it takes and effort.

 

Software wont be able to submit to the correct categories (they differ from directory to directory, change all the time), can read image verification, cant comply with all different directories rules (eg some allow only long descriptions, other want only homepage etc).

Difference between manual submission and auto submission is the time spent, less effort in submitting. Auto submission might submit your site to wrong category and as of now most directories do not like auto submissions.
