    It depends on the site and follow the rules and regulations of directory submission.so u should not blame to google.

    As long as your site is in the appropriate location it can only benefit you. Heres the thing, Google will not punish you for incoming links. They can't and won't punish anyone, because if they did all my competitors would be F'd. However, directory sites don't help as much as they used to. If you want to build good quality links, your going to have to work hard and earn them.
