    Hello all,

    Hope you can help me.

Does anyone out there know of any decent directory submission tools?

I'm well aware of the quality of directories themselves, but I'm keen to test out a few tools and see how good they actually are. I've used a couple, which were useless.

    Many thanks!

    A human.

I think it's the only way to do it properly. If not every site would be submitting automtically to every directory, thus making it pointless.

I use Website submitter from Submit Suite which is semi-automatic so I always have control over which directory my website is submitted to as well as the category it is submitted in.

Roboform can also be a good option, if you do not want to purchase the Website Submitter software. It is a good way of storing your details & automatically filling up the forms instead of having to manually enter them in each site.

In my opinion you should do this work manually.
Submission by any tool is ineffective as they can not find the proper field to enter the information.

Hi, Guys I just want to ask you if directory submissions still effective in link building because many SEO say that is effective because it take a month or week before directory approved your site? Any ways manual and gradual link building is effective specially if it is quality links.

Cheers all for your replies :)

Of course manual is always better. I hoped I'd subtly made that clear in my original post. I'm intrigued though to what is out there. I've been doing the manual submissions now for quite some time and have no problem with it. I simply saw the words "auto submission" and got intrigued.

    Mucho thanks though all.

There are several advantages of directory submissions but it is a time consuming task. However, software like roboform may help to quicken the process, but you still need to supervise the process.

Check out this site submitter. It will add your site to 30+ search engines and directories for free.
But do not count on that kind of tools in order to base your backlink campaign. No auto software can bring to your site hight pagerank quality links

Submiteaze, I have been using it for a long time. This tool can also submit articles to about 600 article directories.

Manually submission is always good rather than by any other tool for submission.
