Hi there, I am looking for a directory submission tool that will make things as easy as possible for me. Basically I need it to be an enter info, click and done sort of job. I was looking at directorysubmitter.com and this is exactly what I am looking for except for one thing - I need to go through each directory manually, if this tool would submit to one after the other automatically, ie. I click submit, leave it for a couple of hours, come back and it's done them all, that would be perfect. Does anyone know of a tool that will do this for me? If not, what othe good tools are available? Thanks, Niall
I'm not aware of any tools with a great reputation honestly. when I do article distribution I usually just pay to get it done-- it's easy enough to find someone with a good reputation who can show you past distribution effects as well as give you reasonable rates.
Spot on Richie_Ni The guys who have developed these tools have done a great job but they still are some way off in respect to being a tool that will do the job you want both accurately and correctly re submissions Progress in development is what this industry is all about and who knows the tool for this service, might even be released today But until that time concur with Richie_Ni
I agree, hire someone to do the directory submissions for you ... at least the initial set of 400-500. There are many reputable services on this board. Then what I do is use a form-filler to help me do the new directories that I find each day. It is still a manual process, but a form-filler does make things quite a bit easier. Someone in another thread just recommended a firefox form-filling extension called InFormEnter. I installed it and love it. If you use firefox you might want to give it a try.
Submit links manually could be better if you ask me.Hire someone to do it for you and be sure they have good reputations before accepting to use their services. I have seen here there are members here who do links submission at very reasonably price.Their services are fast and professional as well.Just wandering at the links or SEO thread and you would find them there.
Manual submission is the best if you have time, otherwise people are there in this forum to help you, I suppose.
It doesn't hurt your site at all. Fact #1: Search engines would never know if you used an automated program to submit to directories, nor would they care, they don't own the directories. The only downside about automated programs is the CAPTCHA. Fact #2: Directories are unknown to most people, they only exist in the world of SEO and webmasters. Regular people use search engines and only search engines. Directories are basically masked link dumps. Why do you think the only reason you hear about directories is when someone is talking about submitting their sites to them, or creating their own. Fact #3: Gopher is pretty much the same as a directory, and Gopher died a LONG time ago. Directories are only alive because of webmasters.
You will se much better result doing this manually. If it was that easy everybody will be doing it and nobody will get any benifit out of it...
i guess that would be the next step for google. there would be a large reduction in the value of directories pretty soon
I use the inFormEnter extension for Firefox to store all my data and it just takes a few seconds to fill out all the forms, works quite well for me.
the alexa ranking for the top articles sites kinda beggs to differ a lot of them get plenty of legitimate traffic.
