Directory submission tool

    Hi,

Has anyone used onewaytextlink.com? Their interface and usability factor is quite low quality, but do you think such a service would be beneficial for people submitting their website URL to directories?

A system that would manage which directories you've submitted to and when, and give you a link of many many free and paid directories.

We also have a similar service you can check out, see http://www.articletrader.com/directories/

The difference is ours can automatically check which sites actually listed you with just a click of a button. (good way to locate the directories that never get around to approving listings)

You can probably use both as we have different directories in the list, and it sure beats out keeping track with say excel or memory :)

We are developing a similar tool that keeps track of all directories you have submitted to; the tool also autofills all the submit page form information based on the profile you have set up with the application... its not quite ready for release yet though...

I simply use Roboform that fills in the fields for any site that I visit.

Do you mean when? Within the next 3 months all being well - we have the main bulk of the application running, we just need to resolve some small issues, design the site and do the promotion. Its rather a clever little tool :)

There will be a trial where you can the software application for 100 submission - after the trial period it will be paid, probably about $25 subscription per year.

    As per Nicks response...

Indeed :) And thats why its so good - it just makes the life of the submitter a lot easier and quicker. Instead of having to fill that same form in over and over, the software recognises the form ids and does it for you... each directory submission take a fraction of the time to complete!!!

thanks for the info! is this a windows based application?

yes, and it keeps track! i think that's so important. all directories start looking alike after some time (i posted to 150 last night alone) and some started coming up again, and you only get to know after you've filled the form and submitted it! so a system that keeps track of which directories you've submitted to would be awsome.

The application is a windows internet explorer (IE) toolbar plugin - its not a stand alone application! Once installed you simply setup a profile (with all your site details; title, description, contact email etc.) then click a button on the toolbar which takes you to a random directory which is stored in an online database... each time you click for a new directory a new random directory is loaded into the IE browser!

Don't want to give away too much info until the offical launch, but it really is an outstanding little application - its also good for reducing spam as the full list of directories is never shown, and even directories that are shown in the browser are loaded in a random order hence the list can never be easily stolen and used by spammers/completely automated applications.

Its also got various other cool features and really handles the form filling fuction, very, very well!!!

    We just released DIRZAP.

It does what RoboForm does and more. Plus it's free.
