Directory Submission Still Effective?

Hi all,

I am going to build many links for my websites by directory submission but is still effective for SERPs and google pr? ( i read some news that it isnt effective anyway few months back).

I think it still important for building links. But I suggest not to focus only on directories, mix it with other seo strategies

Ya, it works ands its good to make 10 to 15 submissions daily by yourself.
That will be around 300 in a month.
Also, it will help you in getting a little bit traffic.

if you want to spend your time on that it can't hurt as some might say it will, but spending time on getting fewer quality links and writing content may give a better return.

I will suggest you to do submit your sites in directories, but I will warn you to be careful in selection of directories which are very much relevant to your site's content only. Moreover try to add as much descriptive text and anchor as possible and also don't repeat the anchor text or description else Google will infer that you have probably used some software to build back links. Don't overdo it. Google has a good long algorithm to evaluate the rate of growth of back links is natural or un-natural.

 

Also make sure that the directories are DO FOLLOW ones. else your efforts wont give results.

 

there are many factors like quality of directory, c class ip , do follow and so on . if you take care of this it works
