Has anyone tried DigiXmas submission s/w? Its semi-manual and requires you to type in the Captcha. It doesnt have the results of fully manual submissions (since most directories listed seem to have PR 0,1,2 or 3). But its easy.

Calibur, yes SubmitEaze can fill in any submission form, even if it has a CAPTCHA code. It's semi-automated so you visit the submission form of the website, and the auto-fill capabilities of SubmitEaze means it will fill all of the other fields on the submission form. You just need to type the CAPTCHA code, so it may take a couple of seconds longer, but it's no biggie.

During the submission, is this important to give exact description of web site and meta description?

Good effort, looks like a good product, but do you really need to be in 300+ search engines? Just Google/Yahoo/MSN was always enough for me.... but maybe that's where I fell down in my internet ventures.

Plus if you're in those, you usually somehow make your way into others.

That is about directories (and links from them), not search engines.

To be honest, there's loads of search engine/Directory submission software for free. So what makes this $65 program any better?

Well, you get what you pay for. If someone invests the same amount of time as we do to produce software that is regularly updated, has reguarly updated directory lists, and do it for absolutely nothing, well, I think they'd need their head read to be honest.

I have been using submiteaze for over a year now and have had some excellent results with it. (search engine positioning wise). The updates are great and it seem to be an ever evolving piece of software which is great to see. The additional functionality from when it first came out seems to have been done by submiteaze listening to their customers. It has become an essential tool of mine for my clients site promotion. I have tried many others but have not found one to beat this. I have got my money back on the software (and more) by recommending it to clients as I am part of their affiliate scheme. I also use outsourced directory submitters as like most peopel , don't have the time (or patience) to fill out 100s of Captchas. But if there is a specific project that I have charged a lot for I use this tool as it has a good recording/reporting structure. Excellent.. Keep up the good work big-bad-burrow, from a fellow Brit.

I decided a few months ago that I would eventually buy SubmitEaze, after comparing the features, as stated in their site, with other tools. I then bookmarked the site. But I would like to know if submission reports can be retrieved from the software. That's assuming I'm working for clients who would require detailed reports of directories their sites were submitted to.

Just a quick post to let everyone know that version 8 of SubmitEaze has been released and it contains a pretty neat new feature - "TURBO SUBMISSION MODE"!

Basically, with Turbo Submitter mode we've done away with the web browser component, and instead SubmitEaze connects directly to the directory and renders the submission fields as part of the user interface so that each submission can be done very quickly and very easily. We've put together a short video demo showing the new feature in action:

    http://www.submiteaze.com/demos/turbosubmitter-overview.html

As you can see, the process is still semi-automated so you can be sure that the submission details are correct and that the appropriate category has been selected. But you can now submit to a directory in just a matter of seconds and with the click of a button. I think our tagline should be "the speed of automated submissions, but with the accuracy of manual" - because that’s what it basically does.

We've also added even more directories to our lists. As it currently stands, we now list...

2,500 Free submission directories (1,700 of which are compatible with Turbo Submission mode)
    900 Paid submission
    350 Reciprocal submission
    700 niche directories

...plenty for you to be submitting to!

Full details about the upgrade can be found here:

    http://www.submiteaze.com/upgrade-80.html

ALSO, just to remind everyone; SubmitEaze is both a website directory submitter AND aritcle directory submitter. There's no need to buy two separate software packages for the two operations - SubmitEaze does BOTH!

So, you can buy SubmitEaze, which submits to both website and article directories, includes the new Turbo Submission mode, and the newly expanded directory list for just $64.95. But just so everyone has plenty of warning, on 1st October 2008 the price will be increased to $79.95 - there, at least I won't get flamed now for not letting people know.

Any questions, comments, and suggestions then please feel free to get in touch.

    All the best,

    BBB

    Hi there,

Yes you can submit as many websites as you like - you just set up a different project for each of your websites and you can keep an independent list of submissions for each project.

    Hope that helps?

Thanks for the update BBB - this really is a great addition to the software! I've been using it for the past few weeks and I think it's brilliant. I still cant believe I get these update for free, it feels like I'm doing something immoral.

I don't think that software is useful for directory submission because now days there are many directories that have change there guideline.
Manually directory submission is the best.
