Directory submission - Should the desciption be the same

    For directory submission should description be the same or different description for different directory.

    Please help me out with this.

    Description can remain same, however you can change title for every submission.

    If you can change the decription and title both then it will be best. It will avoid any duplicate content and there will be more chance of it being indexed.

    It is depend on you. You can make it same or make some change. Nevertheless the less description should be relevant.

    I think it's much better to use variations or different versions of descriptions (as welll as title) to maximize the use of your site's main keywords

    It is not going to hurt your rankings if you use the same description. It all depends on how you want it.
    It will be a good practice if you use different descriptions for each of different directories since Title and description tags should be unique and related to your web page.

    Either the description and site url may be same or different , but the submission sites should be different for each same submission.

    the link anchor text must be not the same. the description may be the same as it will not matter strongly. this is to avoid SEO spam.
